I drove up to see the Mqombotis again over Labor Day. The visit was great. The drive was boring. Remember when I complained about how empty Wyoming is? That there is NOTHING there? Only empty miles...empty empty miles... Well, I lied. There is a rock. And a tree. In the exact same spot. Now, THAT is what I call interesting and definately worth pulling over for.

I love that you pulled over to capture this moment...
Also...isn't that also a HILL I see?
nah...its a trick of the eye. The plateaus are squished right up against the sky. No room for hills up there.
Drive eastward in Wyoming, it actually turns beautiful. Of course you might want a reason to go that way. . . it leads to Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota! And don't forget the really, really big rock in Wyoming--Devil's Tower! It's pretty cool.
