It was so hot this day that we moved the table so that we could feel the fans blowing cool air on us while we ate. (Just to clear any confusion about the backgroud.) We had yummy chicken salad, a lemon pudding ring, and homemade peach ice cream.

Dad made a super-delicious chocolate pumpkin cake for mom this year, with gooey drippy icing. I intend to post the recipe for you all, because it was fantabulous.Good days were had by all.
